Phyllis Klein, President
Part producer, part director, part lead actor.

That’s how Phyllis Klein describes her role at the agency, and her hands-on approach to providing the highest level of client service to image conscious beauty, health and lifestyle clients.

Having worked as a public relations executive with major marketing oriented companies, Klein offers a keen understanding of what corporate clients need, and an insider’s perspective on how agencies service them…for better or worse.

Klein has earned a reputation for getting her clients’ products seen on TV, written about in magazines and newspapers, and used by celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Garner, Courtney Cox, Selma Blair, Marisa Tomei, Felicity Huffman, and Calista Flockhart. She knows how to tap the powerful influences of Hollywood as well as those of the New York media, and her career combines experience in both areas.

Klein came to Los Angeles as Vice President, Public Relations for Max Factor, where she is credited with giving the company’s image a much-needed makeover playing on its glamorous Hollywood roots. While at Max Factor she created numerous celebrity-driven publicity programs and integrated marketing campaigns.

At Clairol in New York, she was Director of Public Relations and Publicity.  Highlights of her tenure there include the creation of the company's highly successful new-user hair color TV makeover program, as well as the initiation of several women's scholarship and award programs that brought the company commendations from the White House, Capitol Hill, and the media. Klein's prior marketing public relations experience was at the New York office of Edelman PR Worldwide, where she was responsible for the Gillette Personal Care and Toiletries Divisions accounts as well as a variety of fashion accounts. Her industry affiliations include memberships in Cosmetic Executive Women, Beauty Industry West and Fashion Group International.

Klein holds a Bachelor's degree in communications from Boston University.

As the Hollywood sign looms large nearby, our Los Angeles team members can usually be found on the phone with an editor, producer, celebrity make-up artist or client; at the computer writing a killer press release, or in our conference room brainstorming great strategies for a client campaign. This creative party of women is always in the know when it comes to trends in beauty, health/fitness, entertainment and lifestyle. The New York Team
Our team on the ground in New York is headed by Rhonda Racz, a marketing and PR expert with broad-based consumer products experience gained from many years on both the corporate and agency sides. Racz has created integrated marketing programs credited with helping to build some of America’s most successful brands, including super-premium brands such as Chivas Regal and Martell Cognac.

The team is compromised of affiliates offering several areas of specialization, ranging from guerrilla marketing to event production to just plain coming through with whatever it is that is needed when it’s needed.
